4th of July

Our Fourth of July started with a flag raising ceremony and patriotic program as well as a delicious outdoor breakfast for all the stake. Evelyn was Grandpa's assistant as he went around greeting people.

In the afternoon we joined the Vance's at their home for a BBQ, fireworks and fun family time together. The children rode their bikes, and marched around with the flag and had a great time.

Bryson, Evelyn and Christian.
It's not the Fourth without a family basketball game. Dad Crismon competed right along with the younger generation.

Family Fun - The MWL Reunion

How do you spell fun during the summer months? "FAMILY!" From June 21-28th we enjoyed our own family reunion, a Sunday afternoon reunion with our Smith family and then several days with our Malin Lewis Reunion at Little Bear River Resort by Paradise, Utah. It was paradise to enjoy family, with nonstop visiting and fun activities. There were tender moments with the opening program showing a display of family photos that Jesse Lewis put together in a unique and entertaining fashion. Climaxed by Grandpa Lewis's face made up of all the photos of the family. Very unique and beautiful!

Dori Ann was amazing to pull this all together for our family. She planned well and everything worked like clockwork. Thanks, Dori Ann!
There were many activities for all age groups. The little girls loved learning to do ballet movements for their performance for the adults.

Jocelyn & Camilla were excellent instructors.
Evelyn was in heaven with all the dancing.
We enjoyed delicious meals. Food always tastes better surrounded by loved ones and eating on a picnic table.
Clyde & Delon Pease with Matt Anderson. Matt & Janae and their one-week old baby were there for a short time. A couple of months after the reunion, Clyde was called as the Patriarch in their Stake in Kingman, AZ.

I loved time with my grandchildren. Elliot and Isaac were good to share their little table with me. Kenna kept busy bringing us food to keep the boys happy.
Bryson and Spencer loved wearing their "Super Hero" capes they made.

Danielle & Crismon Jr. were able to be with us despite busy school schedules.
Christian roamed from one play station to the next.
Jackson didn't let his broken arm get in the way of having fun.

I love these reunions that inspire and uplift me and help me be a better person. Thanks to everyone who sacrificed to be together.
